    Hi everybody,

    This is my first post at this forum
    I have a website (containing detailed personal information as well as an index of links to "technical internet resources for learners.") I hope you'll tell me guys how it looks and how I can improve it?

    geocities will not let your page be valid, if possible you may wish to consider switching host for that reason.

    the animated gifs do nothing for your site aside from make it look a little annoying.
    If you are using PHP please use the [PHP] and [/PHP] forum tags for highlighting...
    The same applies to HTML and the forums [HTML][/HTML] tags.

    i recommend switching to a paid host and develop a better navigation scheme. write down all of your links and point them to each page with relevancy taken into consideration.

    There is nothing wrong with keeping your free GeoCities page ... if it is indeed free. It will still generate traffic to your site. I have three of them (GeoCities free sites) myself and they bring quite a bit of traffic to my three sites.

    It's free, and it has no banners.

    I quite like the gifs.

    But I feel that your first page should be more detailed... it's not very cler what it's about.
