    Annoying Pop Up I can't get rid of is it spyware?

    Hi
    I use Firefox as my browser and I am getting very annoying pop up from a place called Aurora, I have pop up block installed, but this keeps happening.
    How can I get rid of this. It is also happening In IE.
    Please help!!!

    what do I do now I have the zip file containing nail.exe

    Open the zip and run the exe
    If it doesn't clear the problem try this method
    Backup/create a restoe point before doing this!

    Have you tried to run Spybot
    www.safer-networking.org
    Very good Spyware , popup and Trojan remover.

    Ad-Aware is better. McAfee Virus Scan is good too. I had a thing similar to your problem called the about:blank virus. I ran McAfee and poof! It was gone

    Spybot has proven evidence that it is better that ad-aware many pc mags reccomend it over ad-aware and spybot has more tools for protecting your PC

    I run both AdAware and Spybot. Spybot has everything free including those sections that you have to pay for with AdAware. Also AdAware produces false positives identifying some items as spyware which are not.

    I aggre Spybot is my choise but it is good to use ad-aware as well and a anti-virus program as well.
    Mumford have u tried doing the stuff above.
