excel documents to web

Hi all

Am new to this forum i so i should at least say hi !!!

Either way i need some advice with uploading excel data for HTML use.

I have been working a php website however my friend wants me to upload his excel pages and even though i can copy the Microsoft generated HTML code and paste it in... i just dont like it to much garbage code.

1. My main problem is that the excel list changes alot
2. There is alot of data so i dont want to individually write it all out.

I had setup php with mysql but they didnt want that

so i'am open to new ideas

Save the Excel document as .csv file then write the file to a html table using php.

Oh ok thanks for that i was thinking that when the list gets bigger but for now any other ideas

can i export the file as txt document and then setup a table in dreamweaver and easily copy and past the information in and then save it.

You need a scripting language (php, JavaScript etc.) to convert the .csv (txt)file to html
