    ADOBE ACROBAT File won't open

OK I have a page on a client's site that opens a PDF's of selected maps when they click on the thumbnail of the maps. All of them work fine for me and any computer I have tested on, but for her, she says thhat they all work fine, except the Seating Plan Map. She says that it tells her Adobe cannot open the file.

All maps were made the same way, Saved in Illustrator, all the same version of Acrobat, and I've tried rebuilding the problem PDF a hundred times...

Has anyone ever seen this before, and does the map work for you???
    Thanks a heap,

First of all the map you are having troubles with is not a pdf, it's a swf file.

    Swf???

OK this is screwed up... In my browser, the link"Centrium Seating Plan PDF" links to:

    http://www.westerner.ab.ca/theseats.pdf

Why does it show up as an SWF file for you??? Thats strange

    BEN

PS - thanks for taking the time to look into it for me.

Wait, the image points to a html file that has the swf file in it. The link below it points to the pdf file.

Right and the PDF file is the one that neither my client, nor anyone in her office can open...

Make sure they have Acobat Reader and there are no restrictions to what they can download.

    PDF Problem

I've had found that problem too.. it was some sort of encription of the pdf file which worked on an older version of Acrobat, I tried opening the document with Acrobat 5 and worked, then with 6 and it couldn't open , then in 7 and worked again. Check the versions of the Acrobat Reader in the working computers and in ur client's then try upgrading or downgrading the reader.

    Hope helps

I use Acrobat Reader 6 and had no problems at all.
