Need one-time use or one-machine use link

    Hi,

I need to be able to send a link to one person and have only that person be able to use it. I don't want them to be able to pass it around to others.

Is there any way to have either a one-time use link or somehow when they click on the link it locks that page to their machine so that no other machine can pull up that webpage?

    Thanks,

    Cash

Yeh. Should not be too difficult if you have some software running on your server. Any standard Server-Side language can handle this.

There are a few ways it could be done. For example, you could have some datastore that marks certain pages as "locked" when they are first viewed.

Do you have any Server-Side programming experience? PHP, ASP, CGI, etc?

    Regards.

This seems like a bit of a pointless venture when you think about it.

Anyone who seriously wanted to pass the page around to others would simply copy or download the page content and send it on its merry way.
