modulus

hi, i would like to ask a question about modulus.

In ASP, we use modulus like Mod.

let say, 22 Mod 3, then i will get 7.3333333.

but i want to use something like % in programming c. meaning that i will get 1 if i do calculation 22/3.

can anything replace Mod with something like % in programing c?

sorry, i made a mistake...so, now 22 mod 3 is 1, so sorry.!
