Question Client side Java Scripts - Multiple selections using combo/ drop down menus

    Hi!

I'm a beginner. I use PHP and Java Scripts for my web applications with MySQL.

How do I script drop down menus using Java Scripts?

My requirement is to have multiple selections for ex: If I select an item from List A, the sub items belonging to List A should be displayed in a separate combo box, from which the user should be able to select an item. I could do the first part easily, but when I tried to get the 2nd combo, it goes and displays in a separate (new) window. I need it in the same window. I used "document.write" method.

Can anyone please advice me how to eliminate this problem or show me another method?

    Thanks & regards,

    Pradee.

This is not the JavaScript forum, either!

I will move this thread for you.

    Regards.
