    Web form help

    Hey there,

Im wondering if anyone could offer their opinion on a online form I need to create for my company.

This form will be sent out to roughly 60 authorities who need to fill in the options below:

    AUTHORITY NAME

    REVIEW NOT STARTED

    REVIEW UNDERWAY

    REVIEW COMPLETE

    NEW STRUCTURE IMPLEMENTED

    COMMENTS

Now I have all the authorities in a drop down list, thats fine. The user can select which Authority their from, fill in the above options and send it off.

The problem I have is writing a bit of code for a cookie to remember if the user has filled in the form previously, if so display information filled in before.

All forms on our website are just basically HTML and CSS. I've never written any cookie scripts, just basic HTML and CSS form layouts.

Anyone know a cookie that would perform this task or something similiar?

    Appreciate any help

    Cheers

    Kiwi

Take a look at this thread about handling forms.

What you do (wether you'll really need cookies or not) and how you do it will depend on what you're using to handle the forms.
