    param length

    How do I calculate the number (i.e. the length) of params sent to my PERL program? e.g. If the number of params is 0 then do such-and-such otherwise do blah-blah.
    (assuming the names of the params are unknown)

    If you know how to do this, just show me how by assigning the number of params to a variable.

    Try
    my @cgi_params = param();
    The array will contain a list of the params. Now get the length of the array.

    I think that works in the 'functional' mode of CGI
