Help with Table and Pop-ups

Hi everyone,
I am just learning Javascript and have ran into a small snag. I am the sec of my golf league and was updating the alumni page..here it is...

now if you click on the first couple of names a popup window comes up with the golfer and teams/teammates..pretty cool but I had to manual write those popups. that is why only the first 10 are done and the last 100 dont work.

What I would like to do is have script do it for me so that if you click on the name it pops up with that individuals records.

I would love to also do this on...

and have it isolate the golfer and his averages...but this should be easier then the first one

This project is a prime candidate for PHP or Perl.
Is there any particlar reason why you don't do it that way?

Thanks Cyber1... Like I said, I am very new to web programming. I'm doing some tutiorals on PHP now and hopefully will have this figured out soon..
