    Javascript Double Click

    Is there a condition in javascript, to tell that a textbox has been clicked on?
    what I wish to say is the following:

    from a popup window:
    if (a textarea in the main form is clicked on)
    then perform a certain action


    Does anyone have any idea how this works?
    if so, please let me know. I need urgent help.
