Need a little help with flash

Can someone tell me how can I do an animation with flash if I want the text to be appearing as if someone was typing it.Thanks

well you just type one letter then on the next frame type the next so on...

Hi -
If it's on one line, you could also make the text into a m. clip symbol, then make another that'll be a mask for it - black square the height of your text. Use a tween for the mask to make it expand to cover the text. Put both on the stage w/ the mask m. clip in a layer above text & set it to be a mask. [Tweak the frame rate of the whole movie to make it faster or slower.]

thanks for the info,but what do I write to search for what I'm looking for.I know how to make letters appearing one after another but it doesn't look like if the computer was writing that for example
