    Exclamation window.open title bar problem

Hi, i have a window that opens when a visitor clicks on a link. The html file that is loaded into this window has this title set in is title tags:

    The Paroles Guestbook

...but when the window is opened the title bar reads:

    "http://www.theparoles.co.uk - The Paroles Guestbook"

How do i stop the http://www.theparoles.co.uk - part in the title bar from being displayed? (if it is possible)

This is the code i am using to open the window:

    <a class="nav" onclick="MyWindow=window.open('http://www.theparoles.co.uk/guestbook.html','MyWindow','toolbar=no,location=no,directories=no,status=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=ye s,resizable=no,width=740,height=520,left=100,top=100'); return false;" href="#">Guestbook</a>

    Thanks for any help

I suspect this is some kind of FireFox option, because with IE I don't get the address first. Couldn't find it yet, though.

Ive only changed the code on this page:

    http://www.theparoles.co.uk/links.html

To see my problem go to this page and then click on guestbook.

The title bar displays: http://www.theparoles.co.uk - The Paroles Guestbook

I only want it to display: The Paroles Guestbook , without the domain address.

(and i have set the title tags in the html page to this title)

    please help, thanks

What you are seeing is an option set up in your own browser. When I looked at the page the title bar appeared according to my browser settings which does not include the address.

I was having the same problem.. then I realized that it happens for a securitiy reason! Since we have disabilited de NAV BAR, the browser uses the title space to show to the client where he is. Itīs not very pretty, but itīs reasonable
