Help with linking a video

I need help with a video intro. I want my video intro to play on my page before it automatically links into my home page. I can't get it to automatically link to my home page. Can someone help me with this matter

what format is it? avi/mov/rm/wmv/qt

The file is in WMV format.

The best solution in this case is making the link in a Flash Movie.

Steps
1. convert the WMV to a mpeg or mov.
2. Import in flash the movie
3. in the last frame of the movie clip write this line of code:
stop();
getURL("thepage.html");
