too bad you didnīt code it in css, then it would be easy to change the color scheme to all pages at once...
But anyways..
That is a difficult question with many suggestions and I think therefor you should come up with a decent color scheme for yourself.
Use your moral instincts to what your eyes would feel a comfort to stare at, then I bet others wouldnīt complian
