HTML list/menu width
Hello Does anyone know if you can set the width of a list/menu box.
My list box has to fit into a particular width is there anyway that menu item can be dropped down into a second row?
any help much appreciated.
Use css... 'width:whateverpx;'.
Setting the width using CSS doesnt work. Sorry, I didnt see this post, I just posted the same question as you. I think you are asking the same thing I am. You have the List set to a particluar wide, that you can do with CSS. But the problem is when you have a List Item that exceeds the set width. The width of the List automatically gets stretched to accomadate the list item. Can the list item be forced to wrap?
You mean an <option>? No option elements can not wrap.
<select> Something New, Part 1
