    Streaming WMP audio from website

    I've been trying this for sometime. I want to stream one of my playlists from my website from my WMP.

    When I downloaded the playlist it was a .wpl file. I then created the code and hyperlink to play the audio. It worked! Much to my surprise. I then made a link from my main page and my forum. And lo and behold, it quit working.

    After pulling some more hair out, I figured I'd give up, but I've somehow become obsessed with making this work.

    I would so much appreciate an easy to understand way to stream about an hour of CD audio from my website. I'd like to be able to change the playlist a few times a month. Please anyone, help me.

    try building an asx file.
    then link to your asx file in your windows object code

    an advanced asx looks like this
    Code:
    <ASX version = "3.0">
    <TITLE>Advanced ASX Demo</TITLE>

    <!-- This links the "Show" label to a web page -->
    <MOREINFO HREF="http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia" />

    <!-- This image is associated with the "Show" label, the title of the ASX (16x16 pixels) -->
    <Logo href = "icon0.gif" Style = "ICON" />

    <!-- This image is displayed if the users presses "Stop" (80x32 pixels) -->
    <Logo href = "watermark.gif" Style = "mark" />

        <!-- This is the first Entry clip. Setting ClientSkip to "no" means that the user cannot fast forward or jump to the next clip -->
        <Entry ClientSkip="no">

    	<!-- This creates an Advertising Banner in the player. The HREF is the banner image itself (194x32 pixels) -->
    	<BANNER HREF = "moreinfo.gif">
    		<!-- The Tooltip for the banner -->
Visit the SoftImage Web site
    		<!-- The URL for the banner -->
        		<MoreInfo href = "http://www.softimage.com" />
    	</BANNER>

    	<!-- This image is associated with the "Clip" label, the title of the current Entry (16x16 pixels)-->
    	<Logo href = "icon1.gif" Style = "ICON" />

    	<!-- This is the URL associated with the Title/Author/Copyright text -->
    	<MoreInfo href = "http://www.softimage.com" />

    	<!-- This is the Tooltip text for the Title/Author/Copyright text -->
Visit the SoftImage Web site
