    dreamweaver startup

    how to get " connect to proxey prompt" to enter a user name and password each time i run dreamweaver?

    What type of internet connection do you have?

    I would guess that since when DW starts it connects to Macromedia for news and other update notices that's causing your question at startup.

    Can you cancel it and run DW still or does it do nothing after that.

    Do you have your site setup to connect to a remote server?
