FireFox hangs on executing a Javascript. Help!!!

Hi everybody!
Please, help me to cope with a bug in FireFox.

I have prepared example of Online Help (http://yshindin.narod.ru/Help/testhe...html_start.htm). Before running, enable cookies in FireFox.
Load the Help page in FireFox, click the Favorites link. The System will display the "No Favorite topic found" message. Click Contents or Index - everything works.

Now, download the Help to your local drive from http://yshindin.narod.ru/Help/testhe...t/testhelp.zip. Unzip and do as follows.
1. Load the Help from the CHM_html_start.htm page.
2. Click Favorites. The System displays "No Favorite topic found" (but note - the font is different)
3. Click Contents (or Index). The browser hangs.

If I look into the JavaScript console, I see the message:
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... What can I do here?
