i'm new here^^

i can't get the Positioning a Background: The Watermark
to work at all.. what i get is a blank page
i copied and pasted the code from the goodies page and placed it under the <head> section after the </title>
like this:

<head><title>my html</title>
<STYLE TYPE="text/css">
BODY {background-image: D:\new html\roses.jpg;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: 200px 200px;}
</STYLE>
</head>

did i do it right? how can i get it to work?
