    Absolute and Relative Position

What is the different between Absolute Position and Relative position in asp.net?

I think they are the same everywhere, Absolute position, is that you can put your controls anywhere in the page, using the CSS to make it absolute, you can even put all you controls above each other, in same place, but relative is the normal way we use, which each control must be placed (beside, under, above) other controls or you can manage them in tables.

This is more of a question for the css forum because absolute and relative positioning have to do with css and are client side. You may specify them in your asp.net code, but they are output client side.

Relative positioning will allow you to position objects off of other surrounding objects, it is relative to those other objects. Absolute positioning positions the object from the sides of whatever object is containing the object.
