Fp 2003

Hi

I am using FP2002 but I want to use the FP 2003 I bought I uploaded it but I did not understand the publishing box ?,
So I uploaded the the FP 2002 just do a site, BUT is there a simple PUBLISH as in FP2002 ?

I feel silly here not explaining properly, ?

I just loved the split screen in 2003 great to get to the html coding, if i have a problem

File | Publish Site
and then use FTP and then upload it using that but you need to make sure that your server accepts upload via FTP,

. Frontpage or sharepoint ?
WebDav ?
FTP
File system ?

Local to Remote ?
Remote to Local ?
Synchronize ?

I have a book about 4" inches thick -- which i just copied from, but the all system looks very hard -- you need to be a Phd to understand the book not very clear.

Could you tell me what those are in red ??

Never heard of Dav ??

I do appreciate your help -- I am ok with the Web Server, but was not sure what all those interesting names mean ??

WebDav is "Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning"

ftp is "file transfer protocol"

File system would be to your local hard drive.

Local to remote would be publishing something from your local drive to a remote server.

Remote to local would be uploading something from a remote server to a local drive.

Synchronize would be making sure the two directories are the same.

i think all those are right, correct me if im wrong.
