    copy and paste in mx

    a stupid, idiot proof feature which is very annoying is mx when you copy from lets just say note pad into dreamweaver code it wont allow you to is there any way you can simply turn this unwanted feature off?

    go into a non standard editor, or a non popular browser, copy a something and try and add it to the code, does it not paste for you?

    i can copy/paste from mozilla, IE, and opera into dw mx 2004,

    i can even copy/patse from the commandline into dw,

    what os are you using and what version of dw?

    mx 2004 not sure exactly which one it was on windows 2003 server,
    I upgraded to 8 just now doesnt do it any more, i dont see much difference or a need to upgrade
