Someone please give some examples Meta Tags to put in these forms.

Hello to everyone. I'm new here and hope to learn from this site. I know I need to ID metas so browsers can pick up my site.

In Microsoft Front Page 2000, I have a two small screens to fill in. Under "Page Properties" click Custom, and click "Add" in the first block and then click "Add" in the second block. I need examples of the following:

The screen in the 1st block:
"System Meta Variable" (HTTP-Equiv) Name:______________? Value:_____________?

The screen in the 2nd block:
"User Variables" screen, "Under User Meta Variable"
    Name:___________? Value:_____________?

    Thank You.

I think those metatags are unique to Microsoft, and not needed for search engine indexing. Most rely upon the title, keywords, and description tags.

Thank You KDLA. Is it the title of the page, the keywords

in the page title or the text contained in the page? What are descriptive tags. I'm sorry, I'm new at this.

    Thanks,

    Consult http://kdla.ky.gov/onlinepubs/onepage/0605.htm for more info.

I wrote this for public library staff, but it applies to any web developer.
