    id Every Tag?

    Hi, all.

    Just curious: Do you all id every tag that can be ided, or only specific ones?

    However, it's really nice when you go to link to somebody's page and you find an ID at the very paragraph you want to reference. I like to ID my sections and items just to be nice or in case I might need them in the future.

    Thanks for the advice, Charles. I'll remember that; it's a wise thing to do. I have been using ids solely for JavaScript functions and to organize my div tags, and was just curious if there was some convention of naming all tags uniquely. Apparently not!

    ids make great selectors for CSS and great targets for JavaScript
