how do you turn off the auto blank new document in DW?

dw 8 right? if i remember right you can change it in the preferences (Ctrl+U) or the new document pane (Ctrl+N)

did you try to the new document panel it must be in there, if you still can't find it i'll install it on my other computer and find it

in answer, no, here is the "new document" panel from preferences...

...nothing about "start dreamweaver with new document" or something...
