Apparently some people not only don't recognise the Vulcan salute, they are bemused as to why you would do it. Don't perform the Vulcan salute to these people.
There's a point where you have to accept that your teacher is wrong and that saying the right awnser doesn't help anyone.
Just because you think flirting with someone is just a bit of fun and doesn't mean anything, that doesn't mean that they and/or onlookers will see it in the same way.

Practice critical thinking. Never assume that anyone else really knows the answer to anything, or that they're even being honest - do your own research from many sources with different viewpoints, and so do your own thinking instead of depending on others to do your thinking for your.

When a girl wants to sleep, let her sleep!, especially if your around and if you happen to nodd off, she'll love you even more for it. It's a VERY simple way of letting her know you care, and she'll love the security.

It is better to be consistant than to do it-all-at-once.
I don't see the connection. Being consistent and being impetuous are two unrelated traits.

You can get an average amount done on a daily basis and be consistent at doing it. You can also pick to avoid doing it on a daily basis and wait till' the day of regret to do-it-all-at-once. Whatever the case, it is better to be consistent because the do-it-all-at-once most-always has a price.
