What APIs Can I Use For Trip Search

Hello!
I'm a biginner in Web Development and I want to write a widget which allows users to view available trips between any two cities.Something like at
http://farechase.yahoo.com/flightsearch/index.html

But I don't know where can I get the information on airports and axisting trips.
What APIs can I use?

Can somebody help me,please.
