REDIRECT from one server to another

    Hey Gang,

I am not too familiar with the Servers in general. Currently my website is on a SHARED SERVER. Because of this, clients are restricted from UPLOADING images to a specific folder in my directory. The Web Hosting company will not allow files to be uploaded to folders on a shared server(Its the policy of the Web Hosting company).
Anyway, is it possible to keep my website and database on the SHARED SERVER and rediredcting clients to a different server that would give clients WRITE TO FOLDER PERMISSIONS?.....Sorry if I am not making sense.

Why not just get a Web host that allows it?

Well, Ive been with the current web hosting company for some time and I just recently upgraded my plan with them.
I dont want to pay anymore money than I have to. If I was to go with another web hosting company, it would be more work uploading my database and web site.

yes u can, just point the action of the upload form to other server. but i think u are taking on just as much work if you need to display those images back on the original server...also, the user experience may be different as the images load from one domain as the html loads from another. in any event, nothing is stopping u from doing it

As russell already said. Its nasty but while your doing it you could upload the script on another host and from your main site create an iframe displaying the upload script above..........yuck I feel dirty
