Hi,
I want to add a notice board to my website so bands can list there own gigs on a page. Do i use PHP for that? and is there any good tutorials to learn from?

If you just want a simple message board, you can download some free ones from the net that come with full instructions on how to install and use them.

Try hotscripts.com for a good collection of them.
