FTP with IE6 Now Impossible, wassup?

IE used to be a good standby for ftp'ing, especially if you were using someone else's machine. Yo could drag and drop, of course it wasnt as good as a dedicated ftp agent, but in a pinch it worked and it was everywhere.
Now, when I ftp all i get is just a directory search of the vatious levels and no ability to upload/download. It's jsut html links that will simply browser up the selected file. Am i doing anything wrong?

jakester, have you checked the passive ftp option?

could be the server not allowing its contents to be changed or accessed, I am betting what you are describing is like this

Go to tools>options>advanced and check Enable Folder Views of FT Sites, Thanks for the inspiration, Somatose
