Yahoo's special offer ... Internet domains as cheap as $1.99!
Hi,
Just heard that Yahoo is selling internet domains for only $1.99. Do you think it worths? Where's the trick ? I've heard the news from here http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/domains/?p=BESTDEAL Thank you, Cristian

Well, it's only good for two more days. And it's only good for the first year and you can't transfer the domain name either so you have to host with them. The conditions are listed at the bottom.

Hi,
yeah i thought it would be available for only 2 days but i guess that message was only a marketing message to push the users to buy more .... if you would go now to buy a domain you can still buy it for $1.99. cristian

I bought 2 years hosting and a domain for one year back in 2003. After six months I lost not only my domain but also all my files. I spent another six months trying to contact a real human being at Yahoo but in the end had to give up... stay away!
