MySQL Install Issues on Windows Vista

I've tried to install MySQL 5.0 on Windows vista and I can't get the service to start. I've copiedthe log file, below. Can anyone tell me what is going wrong? Thanks very much!

Have you tried XAMPP? I think that this will work on Vista.
