deleting an image with paintshop pro??

It's very frustrating. Anytime I try to delete an image it fills it with a color from the color palette. There must be a way to delete an image completely without filling it with a color instead. Help please.

Yes, there is. Have your background color set to none. (the O with a line through it)

Ok, try setting a transparent color and using the bgcolor as your transparent color...It should be okay.
