    Fixed Width Page Help - How to stop wrapping of text

    Hi,

    I am trying to design a page layed out with tables but fixed in width so that the text does not all wrap up when the browser window is reduced in width.

    I design a nice layout but when I reduce the window width everything gets out of line.

    I have been looking for hours for the the right code. I thought I had found something with the NOWRAP command for table cells but it doesnt seem to do anything.

    Can anyone help.

    Thanks
    Paul

    If you're using HTML 4.01 transitional you can put a width in the table tag.
    <table width="500">
    Or, since you're not supposed to use tables for layout anyway...
    <div style="width:500px">
    <table>
    ...
    </table>
    </div>
