Just curious, what amount of posts get you what titles? And do we get to use custom ones when we reach a certain point? Sorry the nerd in me is comming out

We are using the default install of vbulletin, and it doesn't have a point system.

We can -- and should -- come up with a unique ranking system for high-posters.

I am thinking maybe after 50 posts you become a Web master.

    What's next? Certified? Supreme?

I decided to just go ahead and do the first level -- both of you are now Webmasters -- because you have more than 50 posts.

Just for kicks, I made the next leve
"Supreme Master of the Web" -- 150 posts required.

If anyone has any other good titles, we'll add them.

I think we're going to need more than 150 posts to qualify as a "genius" ! 160 at least.

    downer

I don't mean to put a downer on your fun here but this rank system just encourages useless posts by those trying to gain some silly title, this has happened a lot already. It undermines and dilutes the value of the forum. Maybe you could introduce a spam forum for those people who want to increase their titles quickly, that way they won't annoy the rest of us, and ruin the main forums.

Actually that is a good point, although I don't think there has been too much spam, yet Most posts seem to have been in good faith.

On one hand I agree about the spam. Though on the other hand I like the idea of ranks. I think after a couple of low ranks it shoud get to something like "Comrade"
