using paypal for online payment

I want to use paypal as online payment method on a website.

Now I dont know much about paypal but would it be possible to set it up that a user would be able to register on my website and then in order to access certain features pay with paypal which would then automatically give the user access to these special features??

if yes how difficult would this be?

anyone know of any articles / tutorials about how to set up paypal for a scenario like this??
