Send warning email when user sumbits to basket

I'm looking to make some form of form that when a user selects "Add to basket" information from the page is extracted and sent to my email (so I know if someone is considering/trying to buy a certain product).

Is there a way to do this as a form?

Basically just want it to send the product name to my email address saying something like: "someone has added product <insert product reference number here> to their basket".

Any ideas?

what exactly is your problem? it seems like a pretty straightforward thing to me
