Software Review:ExperTelligence

DHTML and Channels with one tool? Astound's Dynamite WebberActive is a multi-faceted program; it not only enables the developer to create standard HTML pages, but it gives them the capability to create Dynamic HTML pages and channels! WebberActive provides the developer with instant access to the properties and parameters of all the available objects in any HTML document. The tool also integrates the creation and modification of Channel Definition Format (CDF) files into the editing environment, although we will not be focusing on the Channel aspects of WebberActive in this review. ExperTelligence WebberActive 4.0
www.webbase.com/webberA/ System Requirements
Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0
MSIE 4+ Web browser (required to view DHTML with the built-in browser)
486 or higher processor
8MB RAM
6.5 MB hard disk space
Price
WebberActive 4.0 $149.00 The first thing I noticed about WebberActive is that it's not a tool for newbies. This is not to say that beginners couldn't learn while using the tool, but to get the most out of it a minimal knowledge of HTML would be very helpful. After going through the standard wizard driven installation, I played with the tool for a while without consulting the online documentation.
