PYTHON – Installing pip on cmd for or checking if I have it on cmd(Command Prompt)

Hi,
I have Python 3.6.3 on my computer and I’m suppose to have pip with Python 3.6.3. Can someone tell me the exact command to type in the cmd to see if I have pip? I’ve tried a number of different commands such as pip, pip3, pip3 install -V, pip3 install, pip install, etc…

I’ve also downloaded but I just can’t get it to run on cmd(Command Prompt). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

@NorthernTraderauthorFeb 23.2018 — Hey NogDog,

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately I still can't get it to run.

I've run many Python programs so I know it works but when I type

Python --version in the shell as instructed by the link you sent me,

it comes back Traceback.....NameError:name 'Python' is not defined.

I've read on the Internet a lot of people having trouble getting pip

to work in Python. It sucks because it's stopping me from moving

forward with Python right now. I may have to hire someone with more experience to install it for me.

Any other suggestions would be great and thanks again for responding.
