DuckDuckGo is growing fast but is it enough to grab SEOs’ attention?

DuckDuckGo announced that it had exceeded 9 billion searches in 2018. That compares with 4 billion in 2016. By comparison, Google sees more than a trillion searches per year globally.

We reached out to a number of SEOs and found that no one is focused on optimizing for DuckDuckGo, So what do you think about SEO for DuckDuckGo?

I think, we don't perform SEO for any specific search engine. We just perform SEO to our website.

Search engine either it is Google, Bing, Yahoo or DuckDuckGo; they have one mechanism.

Crawling website

Indexing website

Then returning search results according to the keywords, content quality and search query.

So, is there any need of optimization for every search engine separately ?

In the most of the countries people use DuckDuckGo, Bing search engine etc..and if you optimize your website on Google search engine then how can you get more conversion and traffic?

As per SEO, may be different search engines have different algorithms but many factors are common (like in On-Page optimization) and if you find some different algorithm on a search engine, then follow that particular rule on that search engine along with common.
