On my home page ( https://www.burlingtoncountyna.org/ ), the Navigation Bar scrolls correctly up & down on any computer display…but on any cell phone, it will not scroll up & out of the way of the content below it (content which is very important).
Is there a code snippet that can be added to accommodate this?
On topic now: I suspect that a fixed navigation like yours is blocked due to the same reasons. I recommend to go the common way and add a hamburger memu that opens on touch.
@doxologyauthorJul 24.2019 — #thanx. Someone suggested removing the sticky tag from the nav bar code, which I did. It now scrolls correctly up & out of the way (so as to fully view the info below), but I have no idea what a hamburger menu is.
@moltoviaxxJul 25.2019 — #@doxology#1606558 This is a Bootstrap site. Additional CSS media queries are rarely needed. Bootstrap handles that for you. The simplest way to solve the usability problem is to remove stickty-top class from the navbar.
