[Node.js] Blockchain and Gmail, Outlook…

Hi!

I have just heard about Blockchain which is a great option to keep data safe. I am building an app with Node.js that sends information and a link to an email address and I would like to encrypt the link with Blockchain. The problem is, I don’t know if gmail or outlook are able to decrypt the link in order to make it functional.

Does someone know?

Let me first clarify one thing, blockchain technology is a concept in which encryption, decentralization,p2p, pow is used.

Regarding your query,

You can use a simple library like sha256, RSA to encrypt your data.

And One more important thing is that Gmail or outlook are not able to decrypt the link(your data) in order to make it functional. Because it requires the key by which you encrypt your data. You can do this at your server-side.

Let me know if you want to know more about data sharing via mail with encryption-decryption at the node server.
