How do I fix the Hp printer problem

I recently purchased a hp printer and running windows 10. It worked very well. A few weeks have passed and since then, I just tried to print my important documents from the laptop. At the same time, it's showing hp printer offline windows 10 error message. Can anyone tell me how do I fix this problem?

louis028 You should reinstall your printer drivers and check if you're using a VPN connection then change printer settings and restart the print spooler service as well as change printer properties and install the latest updates and add a second printer device. To fix HP printer problem perform the step given:

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor.
Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
Once HP Print and Scan Doctor is open, click Start, and then choose your printer
Depending on the problem, click either Fix Printing or Fix Scanning.
Test results are displayed with icons.

In Windows, search for and open Control Panel.
Click Devices and Printers, and then click Add a printer.
On the Choose a device or printer to add to this PC window, select your printer, click Next, and then follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.
