Javascript Newbie: Colour change, text change on click

Hello everyone.

I’m in need of a little code help as a very new student of web development. the image below displays a colour panel to select a colour.

The large circle is to display the selected colour. It will always be displaying one of the side colours. Its will also change to the colour of the small rectangles then the rectangle is selected.

Also I’d like some code help with the text over the circle changing to the name of the selected colour when the rectangle is selected.

Could anyone help me out.

You've been most helpful. I didn't even realise i could achieve this without .js

Is there a course or training you'd recommend? As on the journey of becoming a freelance Web developer.

Not really.

I am not a trained Web Developer. :(

As for learning, well, I learned the skills that I possess over

the previous 20 years by attempting to solve the problems

that were posed by members of the many coding forums

that existed at the turn of the century.

Sadly, most of them have gone as no one now wants to

learn basic coding methods, preferring instead to use

out-of-the-box frameworks.

It's difficult, but you have to persevere. The best thing is to start little by little. That is to say with the html bases.
