All i did was replaced the dummy sound with the right one hosted on Dropbox and it refuses to play…. Idea is you type in a text and after a few seconds hear a ring and then hear your typed word. What am i not getting here?
@SempervivumMar 05.2020 — #First of all you need to get direct access to your sound file. This can be achieved easily by adding `?raw=1</C> to the URL:<br/> <C>www.dropbox.com/s/8gpcieio1c4d47a/store-door-chime-sound-effect.mp3?raw=1`
@SempervivumMar 05.2020 — #Unfortunately in your modified pen the settings button is not visible. When I make it visible by setting the font color to white and enter a word the sound is playing, both speech and doorbell.
@pereszauthorMar 05.2020 — #@Sempervivum#1615717 ok actualy got it to work by adding the https in front of the link :) the settings button is intentionally black so its not visible, but it works if you know where to click it. But, ok..heres a kicker. Code works on PC but not mobile (iOS for example)...
