@NogDogMar 25.2020 — Use the various browser tools out there to find out where it is slow, then address the worst choke points first. Without such measurements, you'll just be trying random suggestions until -- if you get lucky -- something helps. For now, we have no idea if it's a server-side issue or a client-side issue or an unnecessarily large amount of bits being shoved across the internet.

@KatepetersApr 01.2020 — @ariannewuan#1616615 Let's look at the most effective and universal methods that can be used for solving your problem.

  • 1. To shorten the critical rendering path. The easiest way to determine the critical path is to launch an audit in Chrome (in the Developer Panel), the Lighthouse plug-in determines its composition and boot time, taking into account the slow connection. The main technique in reducing the critical path: we remove everything that is not necessary or can be postponed.

  • 2. Reduce the size of images and web fonts. [Browse this site](https://sitechecker.pro/seo-software/) for checking such kind of errors and website audits.

  • 3. Data Compression. Clean up unnecessary translations of strings, spaces, and other unnecessary characters.

Remember! If you achieved good site speed, you must nevertheless constantly maintain the site and monitor it.

@growthfundaApr 02.2020 — I would love to suggest you below things to speed up your website speed.

  • 1. Keep away your website from heavy plugins and heavy CSS, and HTML code.

This will reduce the number processing of time for website server.

  • 2. Installing a caching plugin like WP Rocket

After using many other cache plugins I found WP Rocket best. WP rocket will help you to combine CSS, JS files,

and clear cache. WP rocket is best when it use with WordPress websites. It is simple and light weight in nature.

  • 3. Light weight WordPress theme

Another major factor in speeding up website is to use light weight WordPress theme. The size and number of files

of WordPress theme also plays an important role. Here I would love to suggest you to move your website to popular WordPress theme know as GeneratePress. Being a light weight, GeneratePress is SEO friendly, clean and comes with so many editing option.

GeneratePress load website very fast hence most of the blogger have recently switched website on GeneratePress WordPress theme.

  • 4. Compress media files

  • It's recommended that you should optimize the imaged and other media files before actually using them on your website. Simple trick is compress the images file with website like TinyPNG then upload it to your website.

Along with compressing file externally you should you image compression WordPress plugin like ShortPixel. It helps to optimize media files size.

  • 5. Use best shared hosting

Your Web hosting is playing biggest role in Website speed.Poor and untrusted web hosting provider can break

your website. So use best share hosting to host your website like A2Hosting or Siteground.

Siteground is costly but A2Hosting is best alternative to Siteground. I have recently moved my website from

    Siteground to A2Hosting.

  • Thanks.

Do let me know your thoughts on this.
