BOOKS FOR PHP

I’ve recently started my journey on becoming a full stack developer. Can I get a suggestion on which PHP books to start with?

@NogDogJul 31.2020 — Not sure about the first book, as that will depend on your prior experience in programming in general. In any case, I'd have to do the same web searches you would to find the best starting book, as I've not read one in well over a decade now. ;)

However, for your _second_ PHP book, I'd recommend [u][PHP Objects, Patterns, and Practice](https://www.apress.com/gp/book/9781430260325)[/u] by Matt Zandstra.
