@Steve_R_JonesmoderatorSep 03.2020 — It depends on the website....

My Bank's website often times takes a long time to load.... If it were almost any other site - I'd go somewhere else.

If I've Googled something and find a slow loading site - I will close out and try a different site. I follow the "Life is to Short to Wait" plan.

@FizfySocialProofSep 03.2020 — Increase in traffic at your Shopify store can help to get some sales but most of visitors leave website without purchase because they don’t trust new brands. 90% Visitors leave your website without taking any action, Its not they are not interested in your product, Its just they need a good reason to trust on your Product than your competitors.

So if your Shopify store getting views & impressions but few sales or none then its better suggestion to start using Social Proof tools like Fizfy Social Proof. [ Fizfy Social Proof](https://fizfy.com) Notification tool is most powerful tool which influence visitors and skyrocket sales and conversions at store.

@marksmith121Sep 04.2020 — Speeding up websites is important — not just to site owners, but to all Internet users. Faster sites create happy users when a site responds slowly, visitors spend less time there.

And traffic of your site will decrease due to the website load

@FmeExtensionsSep 04.2020 — Website loading time is not only important from the users perspectives but it is also one the most important factor in search engine optimization. If your website is not loading fast enough, it is highly unlike that a user will wait if your site's loading time exceeds from certain seconds. Thus, in order to make people tick to your site, your site loading time has to as minimum as possible and that's where professional web development.

@JohnPhilSep 07.2020 — As a matter of fact, website loading speed is one of the most crucial steps while working towards SEO Optimization. As websites that take a long time to load generally get avoided by the users until and unless there are extremely necessary for them. No matter how good your content is or your keyword optimization around that content which might rank you high in search results, but if people are not gonna open your website or leave it because it's taking a long time to load then all your efforts will be wasted and you won't even be able to realize the full potential of all the other efforts you put towards making that website.

This is one of the things about which I feel like sometimes is a burden... frameworks.

They can easily become heavy and most of the time you stumble upon simple websites using angular( and not only ) for a 1-2 page website.

And let's not bring Wordpress with poorly made themes to the table, it is just too much.

I would even go as far as saying that it somewhat pollutes the internet, I found myself on a limited data plan and had to pick websites which I could visit in order to meet a daily cap of data usage.

Despite the fact that many use frameworks or some sort of CMS, many have lots of uncompressed images which eat a big chunk of the loading speed.

You could go as far as saying that each website hosted somewhere in the world, behaving a little bit "slower" eats up more electricity than a proper designed one.

And not only websites, this one goes for native apps as well.

Many things could be disputed on this topic, but with everything aside from a UX point of view, the slower, the worse.

Especially if we are talking about an ecommerce platform.

@ShivudubeySep 11.2020 — Do you know what added load time any of them give? You REALLY should test them to find out.

Ridiculous blanket statements like “these plugins slow your site” need to be banned from the interwebs. No one EVER mentions HOW MUCH any plugin slows a site, just that it does.

98% of well-coded plugins will not have any noticeable effect on page load time. That tenth of a second AllinOne or Yoast may add to the frontend loading of a page will never be seen by any user. No one can see that kind of difference.

@smashcreateSep 13.2020 — From my point of view website page speed is important. If the page of the website is taking more time to load then the user exits the page and even from your website. This implies higher bounce rates and lower average time on page which is not good for your website.

@m-baig1123Sep 14.2020 — web site speed no doubt is imported. If your page is taking time to load its most likely your user will leave your site and move on to another site. the higher bounce and the low average time will impact your site in a bad way

@cmswebsiteservicessSep 14.2020 — Yes, Website load time is an important part of SEO because if your website time is high then there is a high chance of high bounce rate. Most of the users don't waste time on a slow loading website so you need to check your website loading time on mobile and desktop.
