@VITSUSAApr 16.2021 — Aptana Studio PHP Editor, Atom, Brackets, Codelobster, Eclipse PDT, NetBeans IDE, etc...are the best php editors.

@NogDogApr 16.2021 — I use VS Code along with a few PHP-related plug-ins.

Download link ?

Googling usually brings-up copycats using similar names to trick people into downloading their's. I've experienced this not only on google but Android App Store too. The good branded softwares always have fakes using similar names confusing you which one is fake and which one original.

I use Windows 10.

C:UsersUSERAppDataLocalProgramsMicrosoft VS Code

I usually install in:

C:Program Files

C:Program Files (x86)

Where should I install NogDog ? Where safe ?

@NogDogApr 22.2021 — It's a Microsoft product, so probably pretty safe to do whatever it recommends...but I'm a MacBook guy these days, so don't really know if it matters.

@srutatechnologiesApr 22.2021 — You should use visual studio as it has so many good features.

@NogDogApr 22.2021 — PS, for whatever it's worth, here are the PHP-specific extensions I have added to my VS Code installation:

  • * PHP Debug

  • * PHP DocBlocker

  • * PHP Formatter

  • * PHP Intelephense

  • * vscode-php-cs-fixer

    So, during installation, I will get options to add these extensions ?

    @NogDogApr 23.2021 — No, you can add them at any time via the extensions button, tab, whatever it's called.
